This product has been a great purchase! We renovated our downstairs to serve as a rumpus room, and "gym mat" flooring was both economical and sensible. It actually feels good to walk down there barefoot, as it has much more "give" than standard floors and carpet.I purposely fell on my knees and it wasn't so bad! This stuff is thick enough to serve as a good mat and spare most falling injuries. The tiles themselves fit together pretty well, though it's still clear they are mats. The pattern works pretty well for a floor that wants to look better than rainbow squares or pure black. It's not abuse-proof, mind you. I dropped a rubber mallet on it from 4 feet, and that did leave a wedge cut in it.This is great for a basement because we ended up getting a monsoon of rain the day after I installed it. Needing no tape or glue, I could just pull up the wet tiles and let them dry before reinstalling.NOTE: This seller limits orders to 4 boxes per address. This was not enough for my basement (I needed 6), so I had a friend order some as well. To purchase these products on the seller's regular website would be more than triple the cost, so Amazon is a cheap as it comes for this product line.
