I have had these straws for a few weeks. I like the portability and they are easy to clean with the straw brush. I tend to drink mostly unsweetened drink, I feel comfortable rinsing them in my water glass before putting them away in the holder. My son loves that they are flexible and the top of the straw hangs lower makes it easier for him to drink out of. He does tend to play with the straw because they flexible area make the straw bounce. I don’t like the carrying case. It’s hard for the lid to stay on. Even after arranging the longer pieces to match the stoppers in the inside of the lid. I have even tried to pull the loop used to attach the straws through the loop on the lid. They live in a pouch that holds other things in my purse. I wouldn’t recommend hanging this on the outside of a bag. The longer pieces will fall out.This product gets 4 stars due to the carrying case.I love that these are bendy metal straws, and the two colors are super cute. The design of the straws is sleek and cute. Other straws don't seem they would last very long, or even work, (like the telescopic straws)The downside is that although it might not be a bother the first time, it will start to bother you how long it takes you to have to set up these straws. Take each piece out, put them together, and then when you are done drinking, you need to clean them right away, take them apart, and put each piece back in the case.The case is made out of silicone and can only close if both metals straws are in the case. Also, even if all the pieces are in the case, it is made out of silicone and does not hold together. All of the pieces came out of the case and went all over the place in my bag which led to a piece being lost. I tried hooking on the strap to something, but of course, it ripped. The case is complete crap.I love the straws, but I wish there was a different case. Also, because it already is self assemble, and there are 2 straws, it would be perfect if one of the straws were bigger, to be able to be used in really big cups like at movie theaters. Because the straw just falls in.Have tried several different straws, and these are the best. They are portable, comfortable, and easy to clean. The reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is because of the case. It is difficult to get them in and out of the case and the hinge that connects the strap and cover is already tearing after 1 cruise. I am going to put them in a toothbrush case for future trips.Really didn't expect the case to be such a floppy thin type of silicone. Having the "clip" on it is useless, it can't be clipped to anything....think shoestring floppy, how are you going to use a shoestring to clip to anything? The straw is nice, definitely useful in so cal where it's tough to find a real straw anymore (yes, I know first world problems). Sorry, but paper straws just don't work for me. I'm a sipper, not a guzzler...when my straw disintegrates before I finish 1/4 of my drink, I'm generally displeased....didn't buy the drink to taste cardboard/paper and/or throw more than half of it in the trash, or worse yet, take the lid off the cup & finish it like a barbarian, straight from the side of the cup, sheesh.The stainless steel straw is good, but the bendy rubber is very flimsy and barely holds up the other small stainless steel "tip". It also tears easily from just holding the straw. I would not waste yohr money on these until they find a better rubber or plastic material that isnt flimsy.Really love these! There are a lot of reusable straws on the market that are "bent" but these are bendable, flexible like a "bendy" straw. They are, of course being silicone, not able to bend to a specific angle, but they work the same for our purposes. Have a disabled family member, unable to lift a glass. So we elevate the glass with a pillar candle stick, put a straw in the glass and he can drink independently. I love that we are not making trash any more with plastic flexible straws.Love these straws for how floppy and fun they are, I bought two! But one of my sets was missing a silicone piece so I only have theee straws out of four. :/ love the colors and I really recommend this product!I have only used a time or two so maybe it will get better, but I do detect a slight stainless steel taste. The steel parts also gets very cold when drinking. I like the idea of the travel case but my top doesn't stay shut all the time in the purse, which I wish it did. Love the idea of eliminating all of the straws in trash so will keep trying to remember to use....that is the hardest part since it is just a habit to use the straw they provide.Awesome quality.
