The device is about 6 dollars, and a jar of pads is another 5 dollars, so it isn't very expensive to get started. I think it was created to compete with the Neutrogena Wave, so price-wise, it's a similar deal. The pads are AMAZING. They work really well for both oily and dry skin, they don't break me out, or dry me out, or leave residue. The device requires one AA battery, and is pretty water resistant. However, would NOT recommend using it in the shower, because the adhesive pad won't stick. In summary, the product is excellent, the price is okay, but might get expensive for everyday use. It is inconvenient though because you can't just go to the drug store or grocery store and pick up more pads when you run out, like you can for the Neutrogena Wave, so you should order earlier. This is a good product until after a few months then i thought it needed new batteries but it stopped working all together.very nice. I don't like that I have to actually review a battery powered face cleanser. It is what it says it is. It was purchased as a gift. I am sure the person who I gave it to loves it but I think if I give a 5 star rating that should suffice.it did not work, not once, I changed the bateries an it still did not work, I wasted of moneyThis product foes not include Avon pads for face cleaning. Only comes with Velcro rough top. Threw away, wasted $7Unfortunately this only works if I hold a coin in the bottom and twist to keep it running!Used it 4 times n stop workingStop working at second use
