I read all the reviews on Amazon and other pool supply sites and this was the best value for the money and our needs. We have an inground pool with vinyl liner, 14 by 25 feet. We have a service that comes out twice a week but the pool bottom was always a bit dirty when we wanted to swim. The pool service hasn't been very good this year and we needed to take action. The first bot had some loose parts that looked like weights that should have attached to the chassis. It was new and didn't appear to have been used. When I went through the manual, the pictures did not show the weights. I removed the loose parts and decided to give it a try. It would not stay on the bottom and would float up the surface and twirl around. I tried the number on the manual, we had a language barrier so I called Amazon customer service and they handled the return and shipped a replacement to me - I had my new bot in 4 days!Bot #2 arrived in good condition. Yes, it had the two weights attached to the chassis. I've used it 4 times now. It cleans the bottom of the pool and hasn't had any problems climbing the slope from the deep end to the shallow end. It no longer surfaces and twirls, the weights are a must. The manual tells you to pull it out of the pool by the handle, you need to lift it out by both handles and keep it horizontal or some of the debris from the pool will fall back into the pool. This is a minor issue, the value definitely outweighs the problem.I noticed a lot of reviews mentioned it gets caught up in the current from the return vents in the pool. Again, I read the manual and it clearly states to shut off the pool's filter while running the bot. Turned off the pool filter and the bot did its job!Cleaning the bot is a breeze! I used the hose and got splashed. So I put a sprayer on the hose and sprayed everything down at an angle. Clean up is less than 1 minute and I'm not getting splashed.I gave this bot a 5 out of 5 star review because customer service was great on my returns and if you read the manual and think about how you use the bot, it works as designed. I'd buy it again. This robot does a really good job! Great value! To replace the last one we had with the same brand, it would’ve cost $1k. This one does just as well as the expensive one. Don’t waste your money on a brand. You’ll be happy with this guy!I love this pool cleaner. It does a great job when it is running around the pool. I, however, have a couple spots in the pool where the liner has a ripples in it near the wall. The cleaner will get stuck and does not have enough power to move away. I see it trying by reversing the water jets but it doesn’t help. Usually I have to tug on the cord to lift it off the spot then it goes on its merry way. I wish I could just start it and forget it but I must check on it quite often to make sure its still running around the pool. I just wish there was a backup motor drive for the wheels to assist when this happens. Overall though it is a terrific cleaner and gets the dirt and debris that lands on the bottom of the pool.this pool; cleaner gets the job done. its easy just put it in your pool and walk away. I love it...Couple problems I had with this device was that the suction wasn't that great and the cord would always get tangled and the device couldn't move when that happens.Assembly and setup was very easy and took about 5 minutes.I ran the vacuum for 3 hours and it cleaned my entire pool. Now I have an inground gunite pool and it performed beautifully. Again 1st run will update periodically.okayProduct didnt work, returned 2 weeks ago and still no refund.Amazon can this be refunded ASAP please.Regards, Dave
